GIVE THE BEST TO RECEIVE THE BEST

The saying: “Give the world the best you have and the best will come back to you” is one that does not just keep you thinking and pondering but one that makes you see practically how deep and true it is. It is one in which we see and experience in all areas of our lives; spiritual, academic, emotional, social.etc. And so in a relationship between two people, this saying plays the lead role. It is everyone’s wish, dream and desire to meet the perfect person, “the best creature of God who does not have any weakness, who  is clean, pure and spotless” and who will accept and manage our faults and weaknesses.
One thing we forget is that the law to sustain a fulfilling relationship is totally different from the general law of science that says unlike poles attract and like poles repel. For a relationship, like beings attract while unlike ones certainly repel no matter how long they try to patch things up. You cannot keep wishing, dreaming and desiring to be the best if you cannot give the best. Your “best” character and life style is the only way to attract the best to you. This is because a relationship involves two people and the result can only be perfect if these two parties work hand in hand to make it fulfilling. To be the best, you have to build yourself, give what you want to have, speak the words you want to hear, make the type of sacrifice you would want to be made for your sake, walk those thousand miles you would want your partner to walk for you, appear the way you would want your partner to appear, for you are addressed the way you are dressed. Do this in all truthfulness and honesty.
In everything, never forget to seek the help of the one who created you for in Him is beauty and perfection and you will see, feel and surely enjoy the difference. You would enjoy your relationship because it involves two people with like minds, views and character.
