Have you noticed in your short or rather long life that
there are some areas that are left totally to time? That you cannot seem to
make adjustments, you cannot fast forward neither do you have any influence on
the handle of the clock?. It is in times such as these that you do some form of
reminiscing, while waiting for time to pass by, you reevaluate your journey so
far and prepare for the next phase when the time says “it’s right”. A friend
was speaking with me recently and said “Everyone is getting married and giving
birth” “Everyone! Babe, how many people compared to the eligible wives and
mothers do you know?” “Make our time come fast fast oo abeg” she said amidst
laughter.
Time is peculiar to every individual, it ticks at a
different rate which implies a different velocity and distance. Its 6pm for one
and 2pm for the other. You only feel bothered when you are not doing or living
as you ought to. Congratulations to all who are “getting married and giving
birth”. I personally know a few loved ones who fall into this category and my
heart feels so much joy for them. It is their time and it has come. Somebody’s
clock is ticking, somebody’s time is at the corner. Do what you are supposed to
be doing and do it right.
Remember , you only feel perturbed about the events of other
people’s life when you do not have mastery of the definite course of your life’s
journey. Do what you have to do, stay focused, all that you want will come to
you.
